Lamina is a specialist manufacturer of tubular technology products using proprietary spiral-winding, extrusion and tube technology.
Our products are made from a broad range of film materials, including polyester, polyimide and specially coated metal foils or extruded from FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene), PFA (Perfluoroalkoxy), ETFE (Ethylene tetrafluoroethylene) and other fluoropolymers.
We are a technical company that prides itself on an enviable quality and customer service record. We design and build the machines that we use to manufacture our products which help us to lead our market sector. We are considered as the market leader of our product type in terms of technical performance, technical innovation and customer service.
Lamina Dielectrics Limited was founded in 1970 by Patrick Hester and remains a family controlled business. We are based in the small town of Billingshurst, West Sussex which is one hour south of London and currently employ about 35 staff.
More than 90% of our output is exported to over 25 countries and some of our products are used in outer space.
During 2008 we completed our move to a completely refurbished factory of approximately 2,600 square metres (28,000 square feet) with a large cleanroom enabling us to produce even higher quality products. We have also invested significantly in our CAD, CAM and IT systems to provide even better technical service to our customers.
2009 marks a new phase in the development of Lamina Dielectrics and we look forward to using our tubular technology to give you a competitive edge.
